Winter Depression - Genovese/Rheeder

Near the end of October, my brother Paul and I packed up and headed east to southern Ontario to meet up with our friend Brett Rheeder. I have had the idea of filming with Brett for quite some time now, and we finally found the time to make it work for all of us. After some discussion in September, we decided to book the flights and we were fully committed to this project. We departed out of Calgary Alberta and headed east bound.

After Paul and I arrived in Hamilton Ontario we were greeted by Brett and we drove straight to his farm house on the outskirts of Newmarket. Paul and I had seen some photos of Brett's yard prior to our arrival, but seeing it in person was mind blowing. The weather forecast was not looking ideal, but we were prepared to make the course weather proof. We ended up only getting a few hours of filming time in the 7 days in ON, but we made do with the weather.

The video only shows a fraction of the many hours of hard work Brett has put into is yard. Brett is a dedicated and talented individual, and I'm sure his hard work will pay off soon in years to come. Thanks to everyone who was involved in any way with this project.

 Was just at Joyride on Sat watching Rheeder messing around...damn good. That, by the way is NOT winter. It hasnt arrived yet, rode the East Don today...we're getting the riding we missed out on this spring. Sweet vid

 @squarepantscymru 2cm thats deep comperaded we are lucky if we get half that down here (cambridgeshire) and still every one moans and wont go out. i would love some carzy deep snow to play in

 its depressing because the seasons coming to an end. soon all that will be covered in snow with temperatures below -25

 I love the color scheme of this whole video, sets a cool tone. I also love how this is by no means great conditions for riding however these guys are out there shredding, makes me want to ride one of these cold Seattle days.

 What winter? we still riding here on east coast. Ya the west getting tons of snow but you can't touch your bikes till next may-june. We going to have the powder and ride all winter so we get the best of both. I'm a serious powder hound so looking forward to that, but riding til january is the cure for depression.

 Awesome but as others have said that is not winter. If you want winter depression sit in your basement for 6 months while it is snowy and super cold out until May.

 I can only imagine how nice the compound looks on a beautiful summer day! The riding was sweet, but my fav part was 1) water leaking from the bucket and 2) pounding the tire with the stick - sick!!! music was a perfect compliment too !!!
